Delete my account

You can delete your Check My Engine Light account (the app Check Engine Light: OBD2 Scan by Harris Apps Studio) and everything in it at any time.

In the app

1. Open the app and tap Garage.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Without the app

Email hello@checkmyenginelight.com with the subject "Delete my account". Send it from the email on your account, or include the account ID shown in Garage, Settings. We reply to confirm.

What is deleted

Your account, saved cars, scans, reports, saved quote photos and reminders. We delete it within 30 days, most of it right away. A paid subscription is managed by Google Play: cancel it there too so you are not charged again.

What may be kept

Records we must keep by law, like purchase receipts, and saved explanations for a kind of car that have no link to you.
